About Jessica Brown
Jessica Brown is a fine art photographer living in Denton, Texas. She is currently an honors Senior at the University of North Texas working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Painting. Her work captures relationships; how the housing depicts a community, how we use and connect with the land, and depicts her personal relationship with family and home. Her recent series, Untitled explores the association of a place with home by photographing the Texas natural landscape. Her work captures the untamed beauty of open space and her connection with a rural community. She is able to capture the tranquility of open natural spaces by focusing on creating moments of isolation with perspective, composition, and soothing shifts in color.
